Andrew Jackson - SVP Marketing

Andrew Jackson was appointed Senior Vice President Marketing in November 2007 to bridge the marketing function across all of BBC Worldwide Americas businesses.

Andrew overseas all the on and off air marketing for cable channel BBC AMERICA, while working with specialists in other businesses to support the development of complementary marketing campaigns.

In 2005, he joined the channel from FX where, as Director On-Air, he created campaigns for Nip/Tuck, The Shield, Rescue Me and Over There.

Born in Preston, Lancashire in the UK Andrew emigrated to the U.S. when he was seven years old. He grew up in Miami and attended the University of Florida’s School of Journalism. A former club DJ he lived in Hawaii for 11 years where he worked as Creative Services Director for a Hearst-Argyle owned station. Other previous appointments include writer/producer for KTVU/Fox 2 in San Francisco (the #1 Fox affiliate in the country at the time) and from 2002 to 2003 he oversaw on-air for Smallville and Everwood at the WB based in Los Angeles.

Andrew lives in New York with his wife and two children.
