Mary Pratt-Henaghan - SVP Operations and Administration

Mary Pratt-Henaghan is Senior Vice President, Network & Technical Operations for BBC America. She joined the channel as part of the original launch team in 1998.

As SVP, Network & Technical Operations, Mary is responsible for developing strategic and tactical plans to meet the challenges of operating BBC America and ensuring the channel’s high broadcast quality and transmission standards. She manages internal and external operational resources for Broadcast & Network Operations, Traffic & Log Operations, Closed Captioning Operations, News Operations, Broadcast Continuity, IT, Business Systems and Live events.

Mary has a strong track record in launching and operating new media businesses and is experienced in diverse resource management.

Before joining BBC AMERICA, she worked for Discovery Communications Inc. and prior to that she worked for PBS/WETA-TV.

Mary received a BA from DeSales University and an MS in Management from the University of Maryland University College. She lives in Maryland.
